We took the boys to the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City- they loved it! Kash loved running from animal to animal and hated when we restrained him in the stroller. Wyatt was his usual inquisitive self and loved asking questions about all the animals he saw. It was a hot day, and we spent almost 5 hours there! It was a great way to spend a Saturday. The kids got to touch an armadillo and a python. They thought it was pretty neat!

There have been a lot of changes to the zoo since we've last been over 3 years ago....one of them is the new carousel. It is a beautiful carousel and has dozens of different kinds of animals to ride. It really is pretty. Wyatt had his mind made up that he was going to ride the gorilla and as luck would have it, it was one of the last ones left! He was a happy camper! Kash is getting better about rides and actually enjoyed riding the polar bear.

Here Kash is, with daddy, demonstrating his prarie dog abilities. The boys spent a LONG time in this little cave attraction, where they could pop their heads up in the windows. It was pretty funny.

Zoo photo op...the boys has a great day!

Go Cougs!! Go BYU!! ha ha...just had to throw that one in there! Too bad JR, they didn't have any utes at the zoo for you! (hee hee) We know what school is really better!
Our day ended with two tired boys who slept most of the way home. We took the scenic route through Park City over Guardsmans Pass. The boys woke up to help us pick choke cherries on the side of the road. We love making jelly!
Next up....a camping trip up Main Canyon with Marily and Kim, and Melinda and Kimball. We have already "practiced" eating our dinner in the trailer....wyatt is very excited but has requested to sleep in the tent....we shall see!!
